James and I (Bethany) were married on January 21, 2006 in the town of Prescott, Arizona.  We had a beautiful wedding ceremony at the American Evangelical Lutheran church, followed by a reception at the historic Hotel St. Michael’s on the famous “Whiskey Row” downtown. 

We have made our home in Tempe, Arizona since our wedding, and bought a house in December of 2006.  We love the location and the house is perfect for this time in our lives.

James makes his living as a computer programmer/system administrator specializing in Linux.  Check out some of his older projects at http://www.japattie.info/pcx.org-content/. 

Bethany currently works as a home health nurse, working with children who have developmental disabilities.  I am also in school now to finish up my degree.   

After some health problems we are now in the process to adopt a child.  We are certified and just waiting for the right one to come along!  We are so excited and have been preparing our life to welcome a new little one.
